Is Islamic education working for the community?

The panel discussion explores the current state of Islamic education and its historical evolution highlighting the paradox of having more scholars, PhDs, and huffaz than ever before, yet having limited societal impact. Panellists examine traditional Islamic education in madrasas, as well as models where secular and Islamic learning is integrated. Unfortunately, they are hardly generating the Islamic thinkers and personalities much needed for our time. The conversation considers new approaches for the future of Islamic education, concluding with an engaging Q&A session with the audience.
